Flu

 

 

 ALL ELIGIBLE PATIENTS 

We will be holding  flu clinics for anyone eligible as detailed below; we will send you an invitation if you are eligible either by text or telephone

These clinics are by appointment only from Friday 17th September and all the following week.

CHILDREN

We will be holding dedicated clinics for childrens fluenz which anyone eligible will be invited to attend when we have the delivery dates.

 

ATTENDING YOUR FLU VACCINATION APPOINTMENT

To allow for COVID social distancing we will have procedures in place and ask that anyone booked in the flu clinics please follow the instructions given by staff.

Please ensure you adhere to social distancing of 2m and wear a face covering when you attend.

Appointment only clinics

Flu clinics are by appointment only to ensure adequate social distancing to protect our patients and staff.

 

You are eligible for a flu vaccination:

  • If you are age 50+
  • Suffer with any of the below conditions
    -Chronic Lung Disease
    -Diabetes
    -Chronic Heart Disease
    -Chronic Kidney or Liver Disease
    -Asthma
    -Low immunity
    -Chronic neurological disease
  • Are currently pregnant
  • Are a carer
  • Live with a member of the shielding cohort.

 

If you are eligible for a flu vaccination, please contact the surgery to book your appointment.

When you attend please remember not to arrive early to your appointment to avoid queuing and wear a face mask.
